Every year we run a research survey. The aim of this survey is to learn from our members and use these insights to support employers in making positive changes for graduates joining their organisations. If you get involved, you will be contributing to improving the job market and helping big employers change their application processes and internal culture for the better.
Here are just some of the improvements which came out of last year's survey:
- You told us that the cost of living was a barrier to interviews, so an employer increased their travel reimbursements for interviews and assessment centres.
- You told us that interviews can cause anxiety and worry, so an employer gave their managers additional interview training specifically to identify and support graduates in interviews who were experiencing increased levels of stress, anxiety or mental fatigue.
These are just two examples of how employers have learned from the research and made tangible changes to the way they work.
